	Bambi Lake saved me from my old lifestyle and gave me a whole new perspective on life. It taught me to live for the lord and not just myself.

	Oh man. I can't even begin to describe the changes in my life thanks to Bambi. I have made lifelong friends, learned important skills, and made memories that could never be replaced. However, the most important thing is how Bambi has impacted me spiritually. I grow in my faith in one way or another every time I visit. It's my second home!

Experience at Bambi:
	I went to Bambi as a camper for 7 years in GA's and Acteens these were the best years of my life so far.the best part of camp was i got saved my second year going.I also remeber always waiting to the summer to come and waiting for GA camp to start and my favorite part even though it was the sadest was the last day of camp. We would walk up the hill by the cabins and at the top see the tear drop in the trees I have always loved it there its my favorite place to be.I go there all the time espically now because since those 7 years of being a camper I now work at Bambi lake in the kitchen and the snack shack. I love it at Bambi Lake its my favorite place to be in the whole world.

	When i was a young lad, we had our own cabin there at Bambi lake so we would come and stay for two weeks sometimes. I love Bambi lake it is where i grew up from the time i was 8. I always looked forward to the chalk talks we use to have in the basement of the lodge, and also the camp store. there was always something special about the items there. but i think the best thing there was the ability to go to a quite place in the camp and reflect, or the walk from the lodge back to our cabin in the middle or the winter at 11 pm, or going down the hill in an inter tube onto the lake. lots of memories for me there. it is a great place for young people to come and be still and know that our lord is still in control.

	What a peaceful, spiritual amazing place God has blessed us with as Southern Baptists. I try to get there as much as I can. The people, the facilities, the experiences are an amazing boost to my spiritual life. Before I was married, I prayed to God with my "top 10 list" of things I wanted in a husband. One of those 10 things was that my future husband had to love Bambi as much as I did. I can proudly say that after 11 years of marriage, my husband and I go to Bambi together every year as much as we can and we now take both our children on at least 3 family vacations there every year. If you've never been, GO GO GO! Thank you God for Bambi Lake.

	We have been coming to Bambi for Family Camp since 2005, first year we camped then moved up to a pop up. Last year 2011 we decided not to come and do something else, well we all missed it and wished we still went so we will be back again this year. We can't wait. My son's friend went with us two years ago and he was saved during the kids stuff, he goes to church with us now and is getting more involved. I love the classes that are taught, they have touched my life in many ways, I really enjoy ones on Family and Marriage. My mother taught a class there two years in a row, until cancer took her life in 2007, that was her last year there. My mom wasn't a camper but loved going to Bambi too. I always feel my mom there with me when we are there. We look forward to what God has in store for this year's family camp. I must also say the workers are wonderful also :) See you all soon
