Bambi Lake Baptist Retreat and Conference Center, commonly referred to as "Bambi Lake" is a 240 acre site in Roscommon, Michigan owned by the Bapist State Convention of Michigan. Bambi Lake operates through the year providing a central location for Michigan SBC churches to come together to worship and learn about our God. Since many of our churches are smaller in size, Bambi offers the resources, talents and opportunties for friendships commonly found in larger churches. There are many recreational activitites such as boating, swimming or fishing in our private 20-acre lake, playing putt-putt golf, walking our wooded hiking trails, sliding down Monster Hill in the winter, or just playing ping-pong or foosball in the game room. It is our most heart-felt desire to see people leave Bambi with a stronger desire for the One who created us. While the activities are entertaining, the true strength of Bambi comes our guests focus on Him through the events hosted here. While many camps are children-based, Bambi has many events for adults such as mens retreats, ladies retreats and topic-based events like crafting/quilting and archery events.
